Raith Rovers vs Arbroath – Match Preview

cinch Scottish Championship – Game 18 – Season 2022/2023

Saturday 17th December 2022, Starks Park, Kirkcaldy, 3.00pm kick off

Arbroath travel to Kirkcaldy today to take on Ian Murray’s Raith Rovers for our first trip to Stark’s Park this season which also signals the half way point of the season.

The last time the sides met it was a Sam Stanton goal which sealed the 3 points for Rovers at Gayfield in our rescheduled match on Wednesday 19th October.

Raith Rovers have been boosted with the return of influential striker Lewis Vaughan who scored last weekend in Raith’s draw with Greenock Morton in the SPFL Trust Trophy.

Raith Rover sit 9 points above the Lichties and have won 5 games at home this season but have lost 8 games in total, one more than Arbroath.

Arbroath should be able to recall Dylan Tait who was cup tied last Friday and it is hope Scott Allan, Scott Bitsindou and Scott Stewart will be fit to boost the Lichties.

It will be another tough match, and a cold day so please wrap up and we hope to see you cheering on the team in Kirkcaldy

C’mon the Lichties!
