Cinch Scottish Championship – Game 05 – Season 2022 / 2023

Saturday 27th August 2022, New Douglas Park, Hamilton, 3.00pm kick off

Arbroath travel down to Hamilton today with both sides desperately seeking their first win the cinch Scottish Championship.

Stuart Taylor left Accies in the close season, with John Rankin being promoted to Head Coach and he has worked fast to bolster his side with Jonny Ngandu, Regan Thomson, Michael Doyle and Jean-Pierre Tiehi all arriving and this week Dario Zanatta was signed from Raith Rovers boosting the Accies attack.

Ian Campbell has said that he hopes to bring another 3-4 players to Gayfield before the transfer window closes to bolster the Arbroath attack.

David Gold remains a doubt with a muscle strain, but Arbroath Manager Dick Campbell should have everyone else in his squad at his disposal.

Arbroath’s last visit to New Douglas Park resulted in a win thanks to a 59th minute Jack Hamilton goal.

It will be another extremely tough match but we hope you can get right behind the team from the very start.

C’mon the Lichties
