Ayr United vs Arbroath – Match Preview

Ladbrokes Championship – Game 15 – Season 2019 / 2020

Tuesday 10th December, Somerset Park, Ayr, 7.45pm kick off

The Lichties travel down to Somerset Park this evening to play our match against Ayr United which was postponed on Saturday 30th November due to a frozen pitch.

Scotland has been hit by strong winds and heavy rainfall but as it stands this game is all set to start.

Ayr United sit just 3 points above the Lichties and come into the game on the back of 3 defeats at the hands of Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Dunfermline Athletic and Queen of the South.

Strike Luke McCowan returns from a two-match suspension for Ayr United.

The Arbroath players will have faced a half day at work before joining together to make the trip to Ayr.

Hibernian loan duo Ben Stirling and Josh Campbell will not be with the team as they play against Huddersfield Town in England this afternoon for the Hibernian Development side.

Somerset Park is always a difficult venue but the Lichties will be looking back to the 2017/2018 season when they won both League One fixtures.

It’s another huge game for the Lichties in a really busy difficult week. If you have been able to make the journey down please give the boys your full support.

We hope you will be there to cheer us on!
