Thank you Cammy Gill

Everyone at Arbroath FC would like to thank goalkeeper Cammy Gill for his season at the Club. Cammy has announced today that he is leaving Arbroath and has has signed a 2-year-deal with Montrose.

Cammy was our first signing of this past season and seamlessly integrated himself into the Arbroath dressing room. A model professional, and a true young gentleman it has been lovely to get to know Cammy.

Cammy gave everything at training and when he was called upon for the Club and made 5 Competitive appearances against Cowdenbeath, East Fife, Dunfermline Athletic, Queen’s Park and Motherwell.

This wasn’t Cammy’s first time at Gayfield and actually had a short development loan at the start of 2017, before an injury crisis at Dunfermline Athletic seen him being recalled early.

Having started his career with Edinburgh South Boys Club, Cammy joined Dunfermline Athletic in 2008 where he worked his way up the youth level and made his first full debut for the Pars in 2018.

Cammy left Dunfermline Athletic in the summer of 2021 and signed for Cowdenbeath where he has been the first-choice goalkeeper this season making 44 appearances in all competitions.

Cammy will always be welcome at Gayfield and we wish him all the very best!

Thank you Cammy

C’mon the Lichties
