There are several familiar faces in the Stenhousemuir team with former Lichtie Alan Cook perhaps the most well known to Arbroath fans.
Stenny have been boosted with the loan signing of Harry Paton from Ross County. The 20-year-old spent the season on loan at Stenhousemuir last season from Hears where he picked up Stenhousemuir’s Player of the Year, Supporters Player of the Year, Norwegian Supporters Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year as he scored 8 goals in 39 appearances.
Stenhousemuir in League One have so far recorded 2 wins and suffered 4 defeats scoring 4 goals and conceding 9 with wins over Brechin City and Dumbarton both coming at Ochilview Park but suffered defeats away to Raith Rovers, home to Airdrieonians, away to Forfar Athletic and away to Stranraer.
Arbroath Manager Dick Campbell will find it hard to change his side after watching them record a fine win over Forfar Athletic thanks to a Bobby Linn hat-trick. With a talented squad at his disposal the competition for a starting place is a great headache to have.
