Match Day 19 – Ladbrokes League 1 – Season 2018 / 2019

Saturday 29th December 2018, Links Park, Montrose – 3.00pm kick off

Arbroath make the short trip up the Angus Coast tomorrow to play our last game of 2018 as we take on Stewart Petrie’s Montrose for the 3rd time this season.

The Gable Endies have been enjoying some excellent home form at Links Park recently with victories over Stenhousemuir, Raith Rover and Dumbarton and a draw against Stranraer which has propelled them into joint 4th place with Forfar Athletic

Arbroath Manager Dick Campbell will be buoyed with the news that Gavin Swankie is available for selection after his yellow card from last Saturday was rescinded after the club won an appeal.

Last Saturday of course was our first defeat in 18 games which brought to the end of a remarkable run and effort by everyone involved. The determination and hunger within the squad has only been increased as we start the second half of the season.

Arbroath should welcome back Thomas O’Brien and Ryan McCord from illness giving the Lichties a full squad to choose from.

A derby is always a hard game to predict, never mind the passion of the Angus derby!

We know it will be a very, very tough game as it always is at Links Park and so we need a rousing vocal support from you the travelling supporters to get behind the team.

Support the Lichties!
