First of all thank you to everyone who entered our special fundraising auction for the #17 Arbroath FC Shirt given to Dundee Defender Kerr Waddell by John McGlashan when Kerr signed his first contract.
We are delighted to announce the shirt went for an amazing £462.00 which will go directly to John’s Sister-in-Law, Kimberly who is running the Great Women’s 10km Glasgow in June to raise money and awareness of Motor Neurone Disease Scotland.
The winner of the auction has a special plan for the John’s shirt, and we will reveal more about that when we can, BUT in an amazing show of generosity they have kindly given us back the Boardroom Hospitality for 2 to auction again so we can raise even more money for Kimberly.
Everyone at Arbroath FC and we speak for Kerr and Kimberly when we say thank you for their amazing kindness.
This leads us to our Auction Part 2.
You are bidding on Boardroom Hospitality for 2 for this Saturday 3rd March as Arbroath take on Ayr United at Gayfield. Boardroom Hospitality is very different from normal hospitality and it gives you a chance to be in the intimate setting of the Arbroath Boardroom and who knows who else maybe in there that you will meet and chat with.
The Auction opens now and will close at 12pm on Thursday 1st March, so less than 24 hours away.
