Two late goals in the 88th minute and 92nd minute from Laurence Shankland secured all 3 points for Dundee United this afternoon after the Lichties has taken a deserved lead through Luke Donnelly in the 52nd minute.
The first half offered no real chances for either side but Donnelly opened the scoring after a sublime pass from James Murphy found Bobby Linn who whipped in the cross for Donnelly at the back post.
Just minutes later substitute Josh Campbell smashed the United Post as Arbroath went for the winning goal.
However with just 2 minutes left Laurence Shankland levelled, and just 4 minutes later turned in the winner for a bitter blow for the Lichties.
