Dumbarton 1 – 1 Arbroath

A last minute goal by Ross Forbes rescued a draw for Dumbarton in a match that Arbroath dominated after going ahead through a stunning Bobby Linn strike.

Arbroath should have been awarded a penalty early in the second half when Omar Kader was fouled, but referee Kevin Graham wasn’t interested.

As Arbroath came close to grabbing a second goal to secure the win, Dumbarton broke and Forbes hit a strike past Darren Jamieson who hadn’t had too many saves to make throughout the game.

The Arbroath players left the pitch bitterly disappointed feeling like they had lost the game, but with 7 points out of a possible 9 and two away games it is still a great start to the season.
