Covid Vaccine Spotchecks

Arbroath FC would like to remind all supporters that the Covid certification scheme is a requirement for all matches with an attendance of over 4000 fans.

This means on Sunday Covid Vaccine spot checks will again take place.

The Club can confirm that spot checks will be carried out at all entry points to Gayfield Park on match days and proof of all three COVID-19 vaccinations must be shown unless you are exempt (proof of exemption will need to be shown).

Both digital and paper vaccine passports will be accepted.

OR

As an alternative to Vaccine Certification Passports being provided, proof of a Lateral Flow Test will also be accepted. In relation to Lateral Flow Tests, supporters will be required to show on entry a text or email from the NHS confirming a negative test result within the previous 24 hours.

****The Club will NOT accept a physical test device or a photograph of a test device as a record of a negative test.****

Please visit https://www.nhsinform.scot/campaigns/coronavirus-covid-19-report-your-test-result to find out more and to upload your test results to the Scottish Government database.

The Club also advise that all fans take a Lateral Flow Test before travelling to all matches, regardless of their vaccination status. The Club would like to once again emphasise that we are obliged to follow Scottish Government Guidance and we thank supporters for their understanding and cooperation.

Exemptions

The following groups of supporters are exempt:

-Participants in vaccine trials.
-Under 18s
-Those who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons.

Under 18’s will be able to use their season ticket or match ticket as proof of age, as these have been checked at the point of purchase and are clearly marked with age categories.
