cinch Scottish Championship – Game 20 – Season 2021/2022

Wednesday 9th February 2022, Gayfield Park, Arbroath, 7.45pm kick off

We welcome Hamilton Academical to Gayfield today for our match which was originally scheduled to take place on Wednesday 29th December.

Since our last meeting Hamilton have added Ellis Brown, Steve Lawson, Daniel O’Reilly and Rangers winger Kai Kennedy, whilst Ryan Scully and David Templeton have retired, with former loan Lichtie Ben Stirling joining Edinburgh City on loan and Luke Matheson returning to Wolves after his loan ended.

Hamilton Academical Head Coach Stuart Taylor is suspended for tonights match and will not be in the dug-out.

Our last game seen a 91st minute equalising goal to give the Lichties a point whilst we won 4-0 at Gayfield in the first meeting at Gayfield back in September.

Arbroath will be hoping that Michael McKenna will be fit after our influential midfielder was forced off after taking a heavy knock to the knee on Friday. James Craigen will miss the game after his red card on Friday with Sam Ford hoping to make his debut.

Your support has been amazing this season, we hope that you can cheer the team on in numbers and re-create the fantastic atmosphere that we had on Friday.

It will be another extremely tough match but we hope you can get right behind the team from the very start.

C’mon the Lichties
