Top Table guests in the Boardroom before the dinner – Arbroath FC Captain Mark Whatley, Rangers & Scotland Legend Willie Henderson, Arbroath FC Manager Dick Campbell and Arbroath FC Vice Chairman Mike Caird.
During the evening Arbroath FC Chairman John Christison was presented with an award to mark 26 years as Chairman of the club.
Willie Henderson entertained the guests with stories from a career that saw him share a pitch with Jim Baxter, Ferenc Puskas, Alfredo Di Stefano, Jimmy Johnstone and many many other footballing greats. He told his stories with humour and enthusiasm that had everyone gathered hanging on his every word.
Afterwards Willie spent time talking with the guests and signing autographs as well as posing for many many photographs. The club would like to thank Willie Henderson for a thoroughly entertaining evening and also our manager Dick Campbell who chaired the dinner and ensured that everything ran smoothly.
