4049 brave supporters faced the elements today to cheer on their teams.

It was the Lichties who made a dream start as Craig Wighton opened the scoring in the 6th minute but Hibs levelled through Demetri Mitchell in the 20th minute.

Arbroath had two great chances early in the second half but Kevin Nisbet fired Hibs into the lead in the 71st minute before Chris Mueller added a 3rd in the 87th minute.

It was a spirited performance from the Lichties who now focus back onto Championship action next Saturday.
