Welcome Max Boruc
We are delighted to announce the loan signing of highly rated goalkeeper Maksymilian (Max) Boruc from Premiership side Hibernian FC until the end of this season.
The 21-year-old, 6ft 5” Polish stopper began his senior career with Swedish side Husqvarna FF, before spells in England with Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion prior to joining his hometown Club, Slask Wroclaw in 2021.
Arbroath Manager Jim McIntyre said “We are really happy to confirm the signing of Max until the end of the season, he is a highly rated goalkeeper with lots of potential in the game and we are delighted he can further his development here at Arbroath FC for the rest of the season.”
Max joined the Hibees last Summer after a successful trial period and made his competitive debut in The Europa Conference League against Inter Club d’Escaldes.
Hibernian FC Head Coach Nick Montgomery commented: “This is a good opportunity for Max to go out and play regular football in a really competitive league.
I’m sure he will embrace this opportunity, and I look forward to seeing how this will help to develop his all-round game.”
He will proudly wear our number 41 jersey this season and goes straight into tonight’s squad for the trip to Ayr United.
