PFA Scotland Awards

POWERED BY OUR PASSION

PFA Scotland Awards

Several of the Arbroath players attended the PFA Scotland Awards in Glasgow on Sunday evening.

Winger Bobby Linn was triumphant as he was named the PFA Scotland League One player of the year beating Dale Hilson, Dom Thomas and Kevin Nisbet to the award.

Manager Dick Campbell was up for PFA Manager of the Year but sadly lost out to Kilmarnock’s Steve Clarke. It apparently was a very tight vote and of course we are slightly biased but we felt Dick should have won!

However there was more good news as 5 of our players were named in the PFA Scotland League One Team of the Year.

Marc McCallum – Forfar Athletic

Jason Thomson – ARBROATH

Ricky Little – ARBROATH

Thomas O’Brien – ARBROATH

Euan Murray – Raith Rovers

Bobby Linn – ARBROATH

Dale Hilson – Forfar Athletic

Gavin Swankie – ARBROATH

Dom Thomas – Dumbarton

Kevin Nisbet – Raith Rovers

John Baird – Forfar Athletic

Many thanks to all the Scottish League One Players and Managers who voted for Bobby, Ricky, Jason, Thomas and Gavin!

Also to PFA Scotland for putting on another brilliant event!

C’mon the Lichties!
