New Pie Huts

We are always doing our upmost to listen to the needs of our supporters to make your, and our visiting supporters matchday experience the very best we can offer.

Supporters tomorrow may notice two new structures inside of Gayfield, these are new pie huts which are in the corners next to the Pleasureland and Harbour.

These will allow us to meet the supporters needs in providing refreshments without having to walk round the ground to the main stand.

They will also help with the queue levels at the 2 existing pie shops under the main stand.

The TASC 1878 (Tuttie’s Arbroath Supporters Club) supporters club generously provided us with a cheque earlier in the season and we decided to invest that money back in a way it would benefit our fantastic support.

These photographs show the two huts earlier this week during early construction. Work has progressed throughout the week and we are busy making the final touches to both pie huts.

Tomorrow the pie hut next to the Harbour End will be opening tomorrow as we give it a full test. We ask you for your patience as we may experience a few bumps along the way but these will ensure that going forward it becomes seamless.

You will be able to watch the action and purchase hot pies, bovrils and cold drinks only.

(Sweets and Crisps will only be on sale at the pie shops in the main stand for the time being)

Many thanks to Bob Stewart, Willie Lyall and Lucy Painter’s and Decorators and again to TASC 1878 whose generous donation has been used to benefit our support.

C’mon the Lichties!
