Arbroath FC are delighted to announce that 20-year-old striker Kieran Shanks has agreed terms to sign for Arbroath on a 3 year-deal from Highland League side Inverurie Locos.
A product of the Aberdeen Youth system, Kieran came through the ranks at Pittodrie and played in the same team as former Loan Lichtie Miko Virtanen and alongside the likes of Ethan Ross, Seb Ross and Bruce Anderson under the guidance of former Arbroath Manager Paul Sheerin.
In November 2020 Kieran joined Inverurie Locos and the young striker has made an instant impact scoring 30 goals in 44 appearances, catching the attention of several other SPFL Clubs.
Kieran ended this season as Locos top goalscorer, and was named Players Player of the Year and Committees Player of the Year.
We are delighted Kieran has agreed to sign for Arbroath.
We look forward to seeing Kieran in action for the Lichties and we hope you will give him a very warm welcome!
C’mon the Lichties
