Kane Makes His Mark on Loan Debut

Kane Hester made his loan debut for Broughty Athletic in the Super League against current league leaders Kelty Hearts.
Unfortunately Kane wasn’t able to help Broughty upset the odds as they went down 3-1. However Kane did play a big part in the match as he was pulled back in the penalty box just as he was about to shoot from 10yds. Another Arbroath FC connection in the match was when Ross McCord, the younger brother of our midfield maestro Ryan, stepped up to slam home the penalty.
Kane said “I really enjoyed getting the 90 minutes under my belt and I am looking forward to working hard, helping Broughty have a successful season and then coming back to the club after my loan spell ready to play my part in the push for the title and promotion.”
We all wish Kane a successful loan period and also hope that Broughty Athletic have a successful season.
