Inverness Caledonian Thistle vs Arbroath – Match Preview

Ladbrokes Championship – Game 02 – Season 2019 / 2020

Saturday 10th August 2019, Caledonian Stadium, Inverness, 3.00pm kick off

Arbroath travel to Inverness tomorrow to face Inverness Caledonian Thistle for our second Championship fixture and our first away trip of the season.

This coming Tuesday marks the 25th anniversary of Inverness Caledonian Thistle’s very first league game which also was against Arbroath at Telford Street Park.

Caledonian Thistle came out on top that day 5-2 thanks to a hat-trick by Alan Hercher who was also captain, but sadly passed away a year ago tomorrow at the age of 52.

Inverness have strengthened over the summer, particularly up front with James Keatings, Miles Storey, Nikolay Todorov and Mitchell Curry all arriving to help the prolific Jordan White up front.

Midfielder Aaron Dorans is a doubt for the home team.

Thomas O’Brien returns after serving a one-match suspension and Manager Dick Campbell should have a fully fit squad to choose from.

Arbroath will be hoping to crash the anniversary but it will be another tough match for Arbroath.
