Falkirk vs Arbroath – Match Preview
The William Hill Scottish Cup 4th Round Replay – Season 2019 / 2020
Tuesday 28th January 2020, Falkirk Stadium, Falkirk, 7.45pm kick off
Arbroath travel to the Falkirk Stadium for their first ever visit as the two sides play their William Hill Scottish Cup 4th Round Replay knowing that not only a home time against Heart of Midlothian awaits, but also the game will be shown live on BBC Scotland.
Falkirk smashed 6 goals past Forfar Athletic on Saturday afternoon with 5 goals coming in the last 18 minutes. Not only are Falkirk impressive at home as they registered their second 6-0 win of the season but they also share the best defensive record in Scottish Football alongside Rangers having only conceded 13 goals in the League.
Defender Ben Hall who scored twice on Saturday is cup tied for Falkirk.
Arbroath will go into the game without Dale Hilson who is cup tied and Craig Wighton who wasn’t signed before the first match so cannot play in the replay, but Manager Dick Campbell should be able to call on all his other players for tonight’s match.
If the game is still goalless or the teams are level at the end of 90 minutes, then an extra time period of 30 minutes will be played and if there is still no winner then a penalty kick shoot out will take place.
It will be a very tough game up against another full side team, which is brimming with experience in all departments.
We hope you can join us and cheer on the Lichties.
TASC 1878 are running a supporters bus to the game leaving Tutties at 5.30pm.
