Arbroath FC Player of the Year – Ricky Little

Arbroath FC Player of the Year – Ricky Little
Congratulations to Ricky Little who was voted by the Arbroath FC Supporters as your Player of the Year!
Thank you again to everyone who voted, we were overwhelmed by the votes and Ricky was your winner!
Last season this prize was won by Arbroath Captain Thomas O’Brien and this year it his partner at the back, Ricky.
Ricky recently has signed a new two year extension to his contract which will keep him at Gayfield for his testimonial.
A signing by Paul Sheerin, Ricky made his Arbroath debut alongside Bobby Linn on Saturday 6th July 2013 in a friendly against Craigroyston Football Club and is currently just finished his 8th season at Gayfield and close to reaching 250 appearances for the club.
Ricky has been a key player in our recent success and has lifted the League 2 and League 1 Trophies as well as being a rock in our defence for the past two seasons in the Championship.
On top of this, Ricky is also highly thought of by his opponents having been named in the Scottish PFA Team of the Year 5 times (3 with Arbroath, 2 with Queen’s Park)
Ricky’s passion has made him favourite to so many of our supporters, always first on the scene to congratulate his team mates on scoring and disappointed when we lose a goal.
Congratulations Ricky – Well deserved!
C’mon the Lichties!
