Arbroath FC 2020/2021 Season Tickets

Arbroath FC are delighted to announce that season tickets for the SPFL Championship Season 2020 / 2021 will go on sale later this week.

(Note – Please do not come down to Gayfield until we announce these days and times)

The last few months have been incredibly challenging for us all as we have all come to deal with a global pandemic. Life has changed on so many levels but you, our loyal supporters have been there for us and made sure that we will be there for you on Saturday 17th October 2020 when the Championship starts.

The SPFL Championship fixtures have now been released and we go into the 2020/2021 season under a 27 game format with 14 home and 13 away fixtures.

These will include our mouth watering first home game of the season against Heart of Midlothian, who will also return to Gayfield in March, as well as games against Alloa Athletic, Ayr United, Dundee, Dunfermline Athletic, Greenock Morton, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Queen of the South and Raith Rovers.

We are hopeful that Scotland will continue to recover from the pandemic and welcome the announcement on the 30th of July that football fans will be once again allowed back into stadia from the 14th of September.

Due to social distancing requirements, the number of supporters who can be admitted will be limited, however season ticket holders will be the first to be given that opportunity.

Of course you are also supporting the team by buying your season ticket, and with our Manager Dick Campbell still as hungry as ever to win games, we want to back him to bring in more players to our talented squad.

We already have 18 tremendous players signed for the new season; Derek Gaston, Jason Thomson, Colin Hamilton, Ricky Little, Thomas O’Brien, Mark Whatley, David Gold, Michael McKenna, Dale Hilson, Gavin Swankie, Bobby Linn, Kris Doolan, Luke Donnelly, Scott Stewart, James Craigen and Scott Gallacher.

We are also delighted to welcome back Miko Virtanen on loan from Aberdeen and he is joined by fellow Don’s Team mate, striker Michael Ruth.

The vast majority of these talented footballers have been with Arbroath for several years and many will continue to play for the club for years to come. This is extremely rare in modern football and it speaks volumes about our club and the people we have at Gayfield.

It would be easy for the club to significantly inflate the price of season tickets and gate admission to cover the pandemic but we want to show our gratitude to our fans who have supported and backed the club brilliantly over the last few seasons and more recently the funds raised via the Virtual Grand National, Buy a Brick on our Supporter’s Wall and the auction of last season’s player shirts.

We are also delighted to announce that Season Ticket Prices have fallen in price as a reflection of fewer home games and offers some of the best value in the entire Championship.

We are also pleased to announce a new category with Young Lichtie Club Members able to purchase a season ticket for £25.

Unfortunately we are not able to offer reserved seating this season.

Live Streaming

As a result of the Covid pandemic, the SPFL has changed the ruling on the streaming of live matches. As such, Arbroath FC is presently working with the SPFL to develop a streaming service for season 2020/21. It is our intention that those season ticket holders who do not get access to Gayfield will be able to take advantage of this streaming service.

Please Note

We will release information of the times and days when season tickets will be on sale shortly and would ask that supporters do not come to Gayfield in the meantime with a view to buying any.

We shall also release details for those supporters who can’t make it down to Gayfield.

These are challenging times for us all, but with your support we will get there. Thank you again for your tremendous support!

Thank you,

C’mon the Lichties!
