Gayfield favourite now in his fourth season with the Club. A strong attack minded forward, who can hold the ball up. Alan has previously been with Aston Villa. A strong attack minded forward, who can hold the ball up. Alan has a phenomenal work-rate and fulfilled his goal-scoring potential after John McGlashan took over the reins. A leg break at the national stadium in January 2006 brought his season to an early close just as he looked like causing real damage to opposition goals against columns.  Recovered to full fitness last season and with a good pre-season fans are expecting goals from him this season.
