WILLIE MARTIN

Tell us about your first………………

Car - A Peugeot 206, which I smashed into a wall two weeks later.  It was a write off.

Holiday – Florida with my parents when I was about 6.

Film you went to see at the Cinema – Cliffhanger, I was 13 and got into a 15 so I thought I was the man.

Pair of Football Boots – Predators when they first came out.

Time at the pub – On my 16th birthday my grandparents took me to the pub on a caravan site where we were on holiday.  It wasn’t pretty.  I was sick all over the floor.

Game you went to watch – I can’t remember, but it will have been a Celtic game.

Game you played in – Downcraig Celtic Boys Club v Dundee United Boys Club when I was 10.

Game for Arbroath – Peterhead in pre-season.  I had to come off at half time because I had blisters.

When was the last time you were really angry? – On Sunday in the pub, a guy started having a go at my wee brother.  Myself and the ten boys I was with sorted him out, (without any violence) and he left.

When was the last time you cried? On Monday at training when Marc McCulloch breathed his rancid breath all over me.

Who would you like to play you in a movie?  Big Dobbs, he’s special!

What is your worst habit? – Looking in every window or mirror I pass and saying “Wombat, you’re hot!”

And your most redeeming feature? – My devilishly handsome good looks!

What is your favourite flavour of crisps?  Has to be beef.

What is the best thing about being a professional footballer? – Everything.

And the worst? Loosing or not playing.
