For most football supporters it is the players on the pitch who get all the attention as ultimately it is through their efforts that a club achieves the results that count in footballing terms. The Manager gets some of the glory if things are going well and if not, he gets pelters. But no club could operate without its backroom staff. From the committee to the ballboys, coaches, administrators, programme sellers, pie sellers, groundsman, the many volunteers who help with ground maintenance and painting, kit staff, tea ladies, PA announcer, lottery and 50-50 ticket sellers, stewards, turnstile operators, cleaners……… the list is almost endless. Thank you one and all.
