Highlights:- Following Florence and Mallan being unavailable due to injury, the manager brought in David McInally on loan from Raith Rovers. In an entertaining first half both teams had their chances however it was Arbroath who took the lead with a bizarre goal in 21 minutes from Fotheringham. McInally sent him up the left wing and his cross sailed over our attackers and the home keeper into the top right hand corner of the net. Soon after an injury to Brownlie saw him replaced by Steele. There were chances at both end but we held our lead to half time. Some poor Arbroath defending in the first 15 minutes of the second half saw the home team go 3-1 ahead and despite Jim Mercer hitting the bar there was no more scoring.
