Highlights:- a much changed line-up from Saturday  featured new signing John McGlashan and youngster, Andy Webster, Arbroath took the lead in 18 minutes when George Rowe headed home a Fotheringham free kick. Stirling gradually came into the game and equalised 10 minutes later. Arbroath got off to the best of starts in the second half when McGlashan scored from a Mercer pass in the first minute. 10 minutes later, John McGlashan was fouled in the penalty box and the Stirling player was red carded, Colin McGlashan scored from the penalty. King was red carded for his second booking in 77 minutes just before Stirling pulled a goal back but the defence held out to see us into the next round.
