Highlights:- Queens started the match by taking the play into the Arbroath half and kept it there however our defence were able to keep the home team at bay. Mercer set up John McGlashan with a chance after around 30 minutes but a great piece of defending cleared the ball. On a heavy pitch Heenan was substituted by Fotheringham in the first half to add to the midfield. We took the lead through a Colin McGlashan penalty early in the second half following Colin being brought down in the penalty box. Queens equalised after an hour and Arbroath were reduced to 10 men with 25 minutes to play when Fotheringham was sent off. The 10 men held out for a draw.
