Highlights:- With John McGlashan out due to a knee knock, John Cusick took his place in the team which finished up against Clydebank in a 4-4-2 formation for the local derby. Forfar started the livelier team and poor finishing saw them fail to take the lead. The home team appeared to be relying on the break but both Mallan and Fotheringham were frequently stopped due to the offside flag. The second half saw Colin McGlashan brought on as an early substitution and it did not long for him to get his name on the scores sheet following a corner on the left by Fotheringham. Forfar were not behind for long and equalised from one of the many corners they won. There appeared to be some inconsistent refereeing and Thomson was sent off following a second yellow card for an alleged foul on Sellars and the 10 men home team held out for a draw.
