Highlights:- Playing in Morton's strips, the Lichties again lined up 4-4-2 with Fotheringham partnering Mallan up front. Following on from last week's performance Arbroath created the better chances in the first half and despite some bad misses and good keeping, they went a goal ahead at half time following a Fotheringham strike which followed some good build up work by Cunningham. Crawford ha a great interception to keep the scores level. Despite being forced into two substitutions at half time, Arbroath continued creating chances in the second half with a good McAulay strike being well saved by the keeper. Some good work by Mercer on the left lead to McGlashan beating the keeper and scoring a second. Clydebank pulled a goal back near the end but we held out.
