This very experienced and respected defender  spent 12 seasons at Station Park with local rivals Forfar Athletic. Alan signed for the Lichties during the January transfer window in 2008, just in time to play an important part in the push for promotion. He joined a growing list of players who have turned out for both clubs over the years.
