Goalkeepers

DARREN HILL- (27) signed during the January transfer window in 2007 and despite a colourful reputation during his early career, has quickly established himself between the sticks at Gayfield. Good shot stopper and superb kicker of the ball with the ability to turn defence into attack. He is a dominant figure in the box and a bit of a favourite around the terracing.
Scott Morrison - (26) a goalkeeper who signed for Arbroath from East Fife in summer of 2006.  Made just four appearances last season. A reliable and competent performer who has performed well when called upon to don the no1 jersey. Scott played a vital role in the final league game of last season, pulling off a string of vital saves at Stranraer.
Daryl Burns – promoted from the ranks of the Under 19 squad, Daryl is a young goalkeeper who will be looking to gain experience from Darren Hill and Scott Morrison.
Defenders
Keith Gibson (28) – ‘Gibby’ is a former Montrose captain who came to Gayfield on loan towards the end of last season.  Now a fully fledged Lichtie, Keith will be influential in the midfield engine room of the team.
MARK MCCULLOCH - Back in his 3rd spell at Gayfield, Marc had been playing in the Republic of Ireland with Shelbourne and Galway United. He is an experienced left sided midfielder or defender and a team motivator.
Kevin McMullan - (26) A product of Gayfield youth development and now the longest serving player at the club. Kevin is comfortable at right back or on the right side of midfield. An uncompromising player who gets stuck in.  Flyer is a popular figure with the fans for his 100% commitment and never say die approach. A versatile player who has settled into a right midfield role. He is always looking for scoring opportunities and never gives up on a game until the final whistle is blown.
ALAN RATTRAY - (30) This very experienced and respected defender  spent 12 seasons at Station Park with local rivals Forfar Athletic. Alan signed for the Lichties during the January transfer window, just in time to play an important part in the push for promotion. He joined a growing list of players who have turned out for both clubs over the years.
Steven Rennie -  (28) Signed from Falkirk in June 2003 and is the currently longest serving player at Gayfield. Experienced central defender who plays mostly at right back. He is the team's long throw specialist and adds another dimension in attack. Arbroath fans were delighted when this uncompromising and committed player signed for another season.

Midfielders
Steven Doris (21) – Steven needs no introduction to the fans at Gayfield and proved an important loan signing during the autumn of last season from St Johnstone. The attacking midfielder made a significant contribution to turning a string of defeats into 4 wins, scoring and setting up goals for others.  Steven is expected to be a key Lichties player this season.
PAUL LUNAN – (26) Another ex Station Park signing, Paul was recruited to the cause in the January Transfer window. A talented midfielder and committed tackler, Paul was on the brink of a suspension when he switched to Gayfield and a couple of early bookings meant that he had to sit out a number of games before the fans could see what he had to offer. What they did see of Paul late in the season was enough to convince them that he has a lot to offer in the second division campaign ahead.
Jamie Redman – Signed from Edinburgh University FC in the close season, Jamie is a lively and entertaining young midfielder. Scored several times last season in the East of Scotland League, where Robbie Ross was also playing.
Ryan Suttie – A promising talent from the Under 19 squad, Ryan is a midfield player with high hopes expected of him.
Stuart Richardson – A product of the Arbroath youth set up during the last few seasons, now moved up to the 1st team squad.
Michael McIlravey – Another exciting prospect from the youth system. Loaned out to the Junior ranks last season and now hoping to push for the 1st team.
Robert Urquhart – Robert started with Arbroath as a schoolboy and had been involved with the youths for several seasons. He has now stepped up to push for a 1st team place.
Forwards
Bryan Scott - (24) a prolific striker for junior side, Scone Thistle who joined Arbroath during the summer of 2006. His debut display at Hampden in the opening League Game was a revelation, scoring a double and setting up the third.  His physical presence, lightning turn of speed and composure on the ball make his another fans favourite. Bryan Scored 11 goals last season and when he is fit and on the park he can make the difference.
STEVE HISLOP – (31) Experienced 31 year old striker who lists Raith Rovers, Inverness CT, Livingston and Gillingham among his former Clubs. Steve has a penalty box presence and can work hard to forge scoring opportunities. He scored a sublime effort in the 3-0 win over Spartans in pre season.
Kevin Milne – Kevin is a young forward who came to the Club during the close season from Dundee. Kevin has an eye for goal and has a hard work rate.
Robbie Ross (22) – Already a firm favourite at Gayfield after his transfer from Edinburgh City at the January window. Robbie scored some vital goals towards the end of last season’s campaign. Hard working and full of energy, Robbie is a troublesome forward to defend against.
