Stopped to watch a game of footbal Arbroath u15 v Clyde on my travels, only to be dissgusted by the abusive lanuage Clyde boys were using, as for the football they were supposed to be playing, more like indimidation. Well done Arbroath boys for not reacting in such a manner. Shows what true proffessionals you are.

Just want to say Good Luck for Saturday and I hope the Lichties go up! I was brought up in Arbroath and went to the High School. I used to go to the games with my Dad (Gerry Fox who is sadly no longer with us) and I carry my Red Lichties key ring with me every day. I am a Reading season ticket holder and will be a nervous wreck, hoping we don't get relegated. All the best!

i am not denying that. what i am saying is there is reasons for that. i can't remeber the last time the same eleven players took to the pitch two weeks running. the whole youth set up was turned upside down half way through the year. if you look at the results before november the 19's were more than holding there own then things further up the ladder meant they didnt play a game for three months. the 17's missed out on winning there league on the final day of the season. achievement. youth football is not about results its about bringing through young players to play in the first team and this season they have at least two that could star in the first team in coming years. the comments from that so called die hard supporter for ridiculas as he has no idea what has gone on behind the scenes and is not well enough informed to make such stupid comments.

Just wanted to add my tribute to Albert Henderson, growing up in the 70s I saw something special in his Arbroath side, not only in their successes, the promotions and cup runs but also in the spirit they showed, no matter the opposition. He was responsible for my proudest ever day at school (supporting Arbroath in the West of Scotland had me ear-marked as a 'loony') after they came from behind to beat Hibs in a Cup replay all the other kids saw featured on 'Sportscene'. In my opinion, though, the mark of the man was his humility. I still have a crackly recording of an interview with him on the next day's 'Reporting Scotland' where he gave all credit to the players and blamed himself for needing a replay to beat Hibs! Whenever I sent to the club for programmes and autographs (Albert being secretary as well as boss), the envelope always came back stuffed to the gills.
I once got autographs from both teams when Celtic were playing at Gayfield, Bert added 'manager' to his signature as if to explain who he was, no such comment from Jock Stein! But Albert was Arbroath's Bill Struth, Don Revie, big Jock, he more than deserved all the respect he engendered over the years and I'm glad and proud he was my choice of childhood hero. Rest in peace Albert, thanks for the wonderful memories. It's 40 years since the first promotion which sparked those golden years, how fitting if Bert's looking down on Stair Park on Saturday evening and toasting the start of another halcyon era.

Visit Scotland two or three times per year and always try and visit when Arbroath are at home so that we can go to the game. No reason, we just liked the atmosphere when we first attended. Just want to say all the very best to the team, hope you gain promotion and will see you next season.

the reason for there release was financial not due to lack of ability. No one is saying that it was a good result. It was an extremely embaressing one and the people who know that the most are the boys that played in it. What we dont need is our die hard fans slaughtering them in public. You said none of them are good enough to make first team, why have we got two boys in the first team pool at the moment. ONe made his debut last week whilst at the same time we had another playing at wembley representing his country. Looking forward to a reply from you.

RE the random boy. Its been a long season for the under 19s having a manager leave them half way through the season not having a manager or a game for over three months losing three quarters of the team to junior clubs and rebuilding with a new manager, a new style of a play and a new team. Having gone through all this they still managed to pull out some reulsts against ross county, dundee and dunfermline to name a few. A few more positive comments from our DIE HARD fans would be more appreciated. Also the comment about none of them being anywhere near the standard of playing first team is ridiculas as at least three of the boys came from dundee fc only last summer and one has been playing in the Scotland u18 team. Might want to think twice before naming yourself a DIE HARD fan and knocking the confidence of our future players

Arbroath under 19s were beaten by dunfermline under 19s 2 - 0. Arbroath had a fine first half, although didnt create much scoring chances. Matched dunfermline again in the second half, changed being made due to injury. This seemed to impact on Arbroath's performance, with dunfermline scoring right after this from the break. Dunfermline scored again right after, thus killing off any chances broath had of getting back into the game. Dundee under 19s next week, so better luck for that. Looking to next season now, to improve the results lads.

Well, Mr Warren.......
Perhaps you and your friends should do some research before making more any stupid mug bets.
AFC were missing 4 influential players (Sellars, Scott, Lunan & Deasley) and have been inconsistent at home.
Shire, however, have just appointed a new manager who has helped their team achieve some decent results since he took over.
If I had been a neutral wanting to make a bet on the match, I wouldn't have picked a home win. Shire are desperate not to finish bottom, and Arbroath are perhaps too relaxed about qualifying for the playoffs.
It's mugs like you that line the pockets of the bookies. It has cheered me up, however, to have a good laugh at your whining on our website.
Yours in sport......

Total random, i think youll
find that ross county team that played arbroath under 19's a few weeks ago,
a very strong side indeed, and in fact are a full time team, who are
subsequently sitting top of the league. So maybe more encouraging news
rather than negative comments would be appreciated, as they did well to hold
them to 3-1.

Me and a couple of friends would just like to 'thank' your team for
shafting us out of a few quid in our football bets today.
A 1-0 home defeat to East Stirling, undoubtably the worst team in Britain,
simply beggars belief. Infact, only one word does it justice...PATHETIC.
Maybe I shouldn't be too critical as your players will have to live with the
shame for a while now, which is probably punishment enough.
I'll have to go off now and scrape together some money to have a pint
tonight.
I hope the boys are pleased with themselves, what with being the laughing
stock of British football today.
Good luck

After watching the under 19s against ross county (in which they lost 3-1) i felt being a die hard fan of the lichties that i should mention that none of the lads that were on show are anywhere near the standard required. I saw a slow formward line follwed by a weak midfield and an even weaker defence. however, i have also watch the under 17s who on the other hand have a great deal of talent and who i look forward to seeing more of. yours sencierly total random

No programmes worth swapping
Steven Rennie is recovering from double hernia injury (and op) and may make it back before the end of the season.
As for the rest - if you blow good money betting or on the pools, you deserve everything you get.
its touch and go whether we'll make the playoffs with 3 real tough games to end... and even whether we want to since we fell at the first playoff hurdle last two seasons

Arbroath under 19's were beaten 3 - 1 on sunday at gayfield, by a very strong ross county under 19's side, who are currently sitting top of the league. Ross county punished arbroath in the first 15 minutes and looked very sharp, hence going 2 goals up in this first period. Arbroath managed to get themselves into the game more, and did pull one goal back in the 2nd half. Arbroath goalie Matt Smith pulling off some great saves to keep them in the game. Entertaining game, but Arbroath went home the under-dogs.

Arbroath under 19,s were held to a 1-1 draw on sunday afternoon. With cold and windy conditions on offer, both sides did well to cope with the conditions. An evenly matched first half, with arbroath being denied a penalty in the first 15 mins. Dundee got on the score sheet first, with a fairly easy goal. Arbroath came out stronger and were rewarded early in the second half. The goal came from a corner kick, arbraoth defender Mchugh picked it up at the back, and fired it at goal, with the ball subsequently deflecting arbroath striker goges, and heading in for the equaliser. Dundee pushed forward and were stronger in the last ten minutes, but Arbroath held off for a well deserved draw.

Arbroath under 19's secured 3 points on sunday in beating a very strong alloa side. Alloa being the stronger side for most of the first half, and mcuh of the second half. But Arbroath battled hard, and started to come back into the game and were rewarded in the final 10 minutes when they scored. Well done under 19's.

you have to do something about the team they were crap today yes the ref was not helping today but come on the defence was poor that first goal should not have happened lack of defence. see paul tosh you have to sort him out as well cause he had 2 or 3 good oppertunities to either pass a good ball to someone to score but he mucked it up. i would try to put reilly on instead of tosh and i would have brazil and scott up front. see sellers he has had a few bad games get him sorted or give the captian band to someone else to wake him up as he is not giving the players any confidence while they are playing.

Arbroath would come straight back down if promoted so another year in Div 3 might actually help.

Arbroath under 17's could only manage a draw against queens park at lesser hampden on sunday. This game was the league decider with the league finally going to queens park on points. Arbroath coming a close second. Hard fought game with queens having more possession in the first half. Arbroath managing to hold out against a strong Queens side, but with great strength managed to come back to a deserved 1-1 draw. Best fought game of the season, with hopefully some more of the same to come. Bring on the montrose. Keep up the good works boys.

Since i was young i always looked out for Arbroaths results and over recent years have shown more and more interest.
Im hoping to get up for a game one day.
Good luck to all and keep the fighting spirit (that AFC have in abundance) alive until close season.
As abit of fun i manage them on Footiemanager.com

Arbroath under 17's beat hamilton accies 1 - 0 on sunday in a hard fought physical match. Hamilton looked the stronger team in the first 20 minutes, then arbroath managed to come back into the game thereafter. Arbroath missed a penalty in the 2nd half, but managed to steal a goal in the last ten minutes to take all three points. Last game of the year against montrose on sunday, roll on.

On the website there is a piece about fans behaving. What happened to the dickhead who was on the park at half time during the Montrose game. I would think, with recent events, ie the muppet at Celtic v Milan, that the club would have had him charged at least, and banned for a year as happened to a well known supporter.

18th nov arbroath u15 7-1 ayr utd u15
arbroath had one of their best results since the team started.
They started the game by pressing the ayr defence and were 3-0 up after 10 minutes without ayr ever getting out of their half.
Arbroath finished the 1st period 4-0 up with goals from Walker,Donald and a brace for Hay.
The second period started when the ref gave Ayr a very soft penalty from which they scored and then Ayr came in to the match a lot more before Hay scored his hat trick to restore Arbroaths 4 goal advantage.
The last 30 mins seen another 2 goals scored by Scanlon and Donald to seal a convincing win

P.S. Yes we snatched the draw but that makes up for the one you lot stole down at Stair park!

Hello, myself and a friend have decided to follow a team in Scotland as our second team, after becoming sick of the expense and changes to KO times in the English Premier League. under 14s update.
2 weeks ago they travelled to Raith Rovers. In the first 20 mins they found themselves 4-0 down.5 mins later they pulled a goal back,Tindal latching on to a Bell free-kick.In the second period the game was more even.Raith scoring in 20min.Two mins later Bell crossed the ball in from wide on the the left and the incoming Watt rifled in a cracking first time shot from the edge of the box to score. In the 3rd period Raith scored 2 more to secure a 7-2 victory.
Last sunday they had the long journey to Ayr.The 1st period was a close affair with Arbroath taking the lead in 9th minute,Birse controlling on the edge of the the and rifling in to the corner of the net. 2 min later Ayr equalised. The rest of the half was end to end with Arbroath unable to score on numerous occassions. The second period was much the same until Ayr scored 2 in 2 minutes to lead 3-1 at the break. The 3rd period was all Ayr rattling in 4 goals to win 7-1
Sun 11th Nov. Home to Dumbarton.
Arbroath couldnt asked for a better start,in the 1st minute Bell launched a free kick from 35yards,which eluded the the keeper and landed in the back of the net.5 min later Bell again won the ball and unleashed another from 25yards out to put Arbroath 2-0 up. With the wind behind them Arbroath continued to attack & on 17min Rennie sent a good cross into the box & the fearless Watt slid the ball into the net. The 2nd period was more of a struggle playing into the wind but some excellent defending across the back kept Dumbarton out only losing the 1 goal. The 3rd period was a closer affair with Dumbarton scoring in the 10min.10 min from the end Arbroath were awarded a penalty & Rennie calmly stepped up to slot past the keeper for a well deserved 4-2 victory.

The last 3 games the u15 have had up to the 28th oct have been away to Q.O.S where they lost 3-1 webster getting Arbroath's only goal but were unlucky not to take something from the game but were caught on the break while pressing forward trying to get an equalizer.
The game before that they were meant to play Livi but Livi called off.
The game before that they were away to Elgin and played very well and won 5-1.
On Sunday 4th nov they played Raith Rovers at home , this was close game in the 1st period which ended 0-0. Arbroath then changed their formation and Raith pounced on a bad pass from defense and scored . Arbroath rallied after that and Webster scored a brace to put Arbroath in the lead again , his first was at the front post from a corner taking by Strachan and his second was from a great through ball from Burnett. In the final period Raith pushed for an equalizer and got it . A draw was a fair result i think after a keenly fought contest

Arbroath under 17's drew 2 - 2 today with clyde. Arbroath had a great first half dominating, and both goals scored at this time. Scorers for arbraoth were colin + john rosscraig. Clyde came back slightly in the 2nd half scoring 1 then being awarded a very soft and unjust penalty. Referee then sent of 2 arbroath players, so arbroath managing to hold on to their draw for the last 15 minutes. Some good football spoilt by some dodgy referee descisions.

When my grandmother, Florenece Kerr, was alive, she brought me to Arbroath, her hometown, on 4 occaisions. We stayed at the now gone, but still there, Windmill Hotel. The Arbroath FC used to have meals there quite often and I was lucky to get to know Albert Henderson when I was a teen visiting there. He was a very kind man and gave me tickets to several games. What has become of him lately, Where does he reside, Thanks and hello to all the Maroon fans! I sure miss those smokies!

Under 14s Arbroath 4 Queen of the South 4
Queens had the better of the first half, scoring in the 10th & 24th minutes to lead 2-0 at the break. Arbroath picked themselves up in the second period & pulled a goal back in the 20th minute. Birse latching on to the ball on the edge of the box, holding off the defender & sent a delightful chip over the Queens keeper. Arbroath continued to press forward up to the break but couldnt find the net & went in 2-1 down .In the final period Arbroath continued to attack but in the 3rd minute Queens retained the 2 goal advantage.10 minutes later Bell picked up in midfield & surged his way through & drilled the ball past the keeper. A minute later Birse scored the equaliser slotting coolly past the oncoming Queens keeper. As Arbroath went in search of the winner Queens hit with a sucker punch to go 4-3 up in the 19th minute. But just after the restart an excellent passing move between Bell & Birse resulted in Bell driving into the box & prodding home a well deserved leveller. Credit to every player who gave their all. Also a special mention to Josh Douris who donned the goalie gloves after a late call off & performed tremendously.

September 23rd
Arbroath u15 4 Morton u15 1
An even 1st period ending at 0-0. In the 2nd period Arbroath scored 2 without reply thro Dewars but should have been more if the front players could have hit the target. In the last period Arbroath made it 3-0 and a hat trick for Dewars. Morton made it 3-1 with a well taking goal but 5 mins later Wilson scored from a corner to make it 4-1. Credit to Morton for playing a team of younger players they showed some good skills but lacked a physical presence.

Hello there,
I was wondering if you could help me. I am a tranmere Rovers supporter
and contributor to the Matchday Programme and I am trying to establish
whether there is a programme or even a teamsheet in circulation for a
pre-season friendly between Arbroath and Tranmere Rovers, played, I think,
in July 1972.
Any other information or material would be most helpful aswell, including
match reports, press cuttings, ticket stubs, photos etc. I am not even sure
who played or what the score or attendance was. I am happy to pay for
anything that anyone has, and would be interested in scans or photocopies if
originals are not available.
If you can't help me - no worries, but if you know of anyone else who might
be able or willing to do so , please let me know.
Best Regards and good luck for the season.

Been gone ten years but always an Arbroath diehard.
Coming home for good and looking forward to making the short walk across the common once again to the hallowed ground of Gayfield.
Started slow but this might be the year, 3 wins in a row let's do it this year.
Come on ye lichties.

the under 14s were on the wrong side of some very poor refereeing at the weekend in their home match against alloa.a very good passing alloa team went 3-0 up but the boys showed great spirit to pull the game back level through goals from tindall & birse (2)only for alloa to score the winner minutes from time.

Arbroath kept their unbeaten run going this season, with a hard fought 1 - 0 win over raith rovers. Both teams played well, but 2nd half it was arbroath who had the better advantage. Raith keeper sent off in the 2nd half for handling outside the box, so reducing raith to 10 men. Arbroath kept the pressure on thereafter, and scored mid second half. Raith upped the pressure slightly late on, but couldnt shake the defence. Keep up the good work lads.

Arbroath u15 2-3 Queens Park u15
Arbroath went into the lead with a bit of luck when the Queens goalie misread the flight of a Dewars cross, then Queens equalised with a shot that took a big deflection off Webster leaving Smith the goalie with no chance. Queens then took the lead but Arbroath came back to score with a great shot from the edge of the box by Walker following some good lead up play from Wilson and Cruickshank. With 10 mins to go Arbroath conceded a 3rd with some slack defending. A close game that was keenly contested , Arbroath deserved something from the game but it was Queens Park that took the honours.

Hi i was at airdrie game watching us win 5-1 against yourselfs last night. Just like Queens Park i credit you on trying to get the ball down on the deck and play football. The only thing dissapointed me last night was Stephen Rennie, and i felt the boy tarnished your clubs name last night with his antics. Alan Russell who is exceptional footballer, was ringing rounds him but to be honest Allen Russell has been doing this to most defenders this year since signing for us. What disgusted me was Rennie went squared up to Allan, then went of the park mouthing of to the referee bigtime when he got sent of and rightly so. I just felt you as club last night would have earned lot more plaudits, if it wasn't for Rennie, i just hope the laddy learns from his mistakes.

Arbroath u 15s 26th aug
Arbroath 4 Dumbarton 3
Played on a good day but with a strong, swirling wind that made passing difficult. Dumbarton scored 2 goals in the 1st period without reply, but in the 2nd period Arbroath brought the game level with goals from Donald and Wilson and they could have had a few more if it had not been for some great 1 in 1 saves from the Dumbarton goalie. In the final period Arbroath went forward and scored a couple of great individual goals by Dewars. Dumbarton got a 3rd goal with about 5 minutes left but Arbroath held out for their 1st victory this season.

Arbroath under 17s played against an under 19s st johnstone side at mcdiarmid all weather pitch on sunday. Although the young lichties got beat 4 1 against a full time physical saints side, arbroath were clearly up for the challenge, although some fitness lacks showing. Abroath meantime parading some young fine talent in the process, and with a bit more coaching and encouragement from scott patterson, we should see them develop into a stronger side for the forthcoming season.

Arbroath field a strong team of 19's and 17's, although were missing vital players due to holidays and injuries. Good physical game all round against a strong broughty, who were clearly up for it.

Thanks seagull. It must be really difficult to build a team, and retain any young talent.
I'm from Arbroath, and went to Gayfield as a young lad in the late sixties and early seventies.
We had a great time back then, invading the field and the like. Arbroath were a good side too. I think we were in the old first division for a season, and I remember when the old firm would come to town.
Great days for sure.
Good luck to Arbroath this year.

i would not say overall there is a big difference in 3rd division pay scales apart from some of the so called big name players.
i would think the average wage would be £70 a week with the top earners on average about £150-£200 a week but rumour has it that Scumtrose are paying some players in the region of £250 a week and East Fife are allegedly paying one player £500 a week.
at the other end of the scale east stirling were paying all their players £10 a week and i would imagine your albion rovers and teams similiar to them are on an average £30 - £50 a week.

Be Careful What You Put on Messageboards
You Never Know Who Is Watching
taken from a Sheff Wed Forum
Hi
Its been a long time since I posted here on Owlstalk - although I understand quite a few people have asked about me - which is nice, thanks.
My last post on Owlstalk was back in February 2006 - when many of you will remember was shortly after I had been asked to leave the clubs executive area when I was dining with a friend of mine who owned an executive box. I say 'owned' rather than 'owns' because as a result of that day he hasn't renewed his box, and actually hasn't returned to Hillsborough either since then.
Later that day I was contacted by the Admin of Owlstalk and advised that the club were looking to pursue legal action against me for alleged defamation. This was the first time I had been aware of any offence being taken as a result of my postings on this message board - and although this news was broken to me indirectly - I asked Admin to delete my account and all of my postings. This was the easiest way of ensuring that any offensive posts disappeared for good.
Some weeks later I was written to by Irwin Mitchell Solicitors - who advised me that the club were looking to pursue legal action against me for defamation, however this could be avoided if I paid the clubs legal bill and apologised. I chose not to take advise from a solicitor at that stage - and offered to meet their demands. I had no wish to enter into a lengthly, and above all, costly legal battle. If I'm honest - neither did I want to see my football club enter into a legal battle either that would not only prove costly, but in my opinion potentially divisive too. At the time Irwin Mitchell claimed that their legal bill was £2500 - and I offered to pay it on receipt of a summary of costs, as I felt that was extremely expensive for sending me a letter - obviously they had to account for consultation with their client too - but I still felt within my rights to request this. I was written to again by Irwin Mitchell who told me I should expect to be paying damages as well as costs of around £40,000.00.
Some weeks passed - and shortly after I was called to ameeting with my employer. Irwin Mitchell had written to them on behalf of the club reserving the right to impound my work laptop, and copying my employer in on all of the allegations they were making about me. Obviously this was embarassing, especially as at that time some of the quotes attributed to me were not actually made by me. Additionally the letter from Irwin Mitchell had asked if my employer found it appropriate that I was making posts to Owlstalk in working hours - although my time was, and is, always flexible and to be fair - Irwin Mitchells would not have known that.
I discussed the issue with several close (wednesdayite) friends, and I was advised by Daryl Keys of Wednesdayite that I should speak to another Wednesdayite who had heard of the problems I was experiencing and had offered to support me with the use of his solicitor. This proved to be a tremendous help. The solictor advised me throughout - and removed much of the worry. We were contacted a number of times requesting costs be paid (these had escalated enormously) and for the apology to be made - and as a result of the escalation in costs we always maintained that we had offered to pay the costs when they were £2500 and apologise - and that this offer stood.
After 14th February 2007 - I was advised by my solicitor that the deadline of 12 months for issuing proceedings to me had passed without incident and that the problem was no longer. The solicitor was paid by my Wednesdayite benefactor and I began to get on with life. Anyone who has been through what I have will know how painful and worrying a process it is - it made my divorce seem like a birthday party.
Around 2 weeks ago I was contacted again by my solicitor who advised me that the club had issued proceedings against me on 13th February (on the last possible day they could). They had also waited the maximum possible time (4 months) to serve those proceedings. Their reason for doing this is known only to them.
Having met with my solicitor and considered their Particulars of Claim - my solictor has concluded that the claim is so unlikely to succeed that they have offered to represent me on a CFA basis (no win-no fee).
And that is the current state of play. Right now the solicitors are at the sending letters to each other to clarify points stage - but there is a very real possibility that this case could well end up in court now - and thats what I wanted to avoid at the outset. Regardless of the fact that my benefactor is covering all of the legal costs - it is still a very worrying time - and my advice to anyone on this site or others - is watch your words - they are being scrutinised and I would hate for anyone to have the 16 months I've just experienced.

mick from leeds there are also other afc websites to go on if you cannot get info on this one.
they are all good but different sites.
i think paul tosh will be a great signing bearing in mind he did not have a pre season last year and had problems with being an assistant manager.

How come, we are behind most clubs in Div 3. I have had to go to the Montrose website to find out the fixtures, so that I can organise another AFC Leeds visit. Next season champions.
Webmaster says - Apologies - all this rain must have washed me
out!! There was/is a link to all Arbroath's League Fixtures and also all the
3rd Division Fixtures at the SFL site on the home detail page. I have
now updated the Fixtures page.

If you have any further info please post it on here, as im sure there would be many parents willing to provide you with match stats etc. Good luck, and hopefully news will follow.
Webmaster response - please send me any info and pics and I will

agree with you graeme the coverage on this and the other afc boards about the youth teams is very poor.
hopefully we get match reports and pictures and info about all the afc youth players on all the boards this season.

Cheers for that Seagull, looking forward to the accrington match now.
Paul Tosh played at Thistle on loan for a bit afew years back and was fantastic. Still think he can do a wee job for you. Not really seen much of Hinchcliffe but he seems to have a great reputation.

Hi,
Sorry to bother you but I was wondering if you can help. I was talking to Grant Clark earlier about getting accurate information in to Football Manager.
What I'm looking for is the names, DoB's and positions of the Arbroath youth players. If you could send a list to jimmy.bell-AT-gmail.com it would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Jimmy

Hey there,
when visiting a friend in Aberdeen a year ago, I came to Arbroath to attend that match vs. Montrose and fell in love with this lovely stadium at the seashore...
No merchandise was on sale that day, but a friendly supporter sent me a badge to Germany. I am currently wearing it on my shirt for memories.
So why not leave greatings here and wish all the best for the up-coming Forfarshire Cup Final.

Stenhousemuir & East stirling amongst other clubs are offering kids free season tickets....so Arbroath could we do the same , after all the kids are the future supporters....pack them in and it might pay dividends in years to come.

Stein was creative but his form was patchy and he didnt have the speed to beat a man plus Im not sure he was really a team player. You never saw him celbrate if others scored. His type will be hard but not impossible to replace. Kevin Webster offers some of the same qualities
Welcome to all who adopt the Mighty Lichties as their second team - a fine choice. Gayfield is the best and most authentic stadium in the country, where you can get close to the action from any angle. And we are one of the few who can maintain our migratory traditions of watching the game from right behind the oppositons goal in reach case (excpet for the very few cases where the police impose segregation and even there they have shown some sense by allowing the fans to switch at halftime).
Finally, any feedback from the meet the manager session which few could attend

Finally going to go to an Arbroath game thats not against Thistle when you play Accrington, however I will be going to see our ex-goalie Kenny Arthur play, so could someone tell me whether I could get behind the goals in the away or home support.

so much for loyalty.
just heard that mark peat and ian dobbins has signed for scumtrose.
peat has a short memery when we saved his career when he walked out on us before and ended up as the albion rovers reserve goalkeeper.
fair enough if he went full time or to a higher league club but to a club below us and our arch rivals.
dobbins smells like another henslee.
