Forfar Athletic vs Arbroath – Match Preview

Match Day 16 – Ladbrokes League 1 – Season 2018 / 2019

Saturday 8th December 2018, Station Park, Forfar – 3.00pm kick off

Arbroath make the short trip across Angus to Forfar tomorrow as we face Jim Weir’s Forfar Athletic at Station Park for our 6th Angus derby of the season.

It is always a tough fixture at Station Park and Forfar have recorded stunning wins over Raith Rovers and Dumbarton in their last two home games.

Forfar also have a 4th round Scottish Cup tie with Kilmarnock to look forward to after overcoming BSC Glasgow at Station Park.

Forfar Athletic Team News

Forfar, like Arbroath are working with a small squad of players with a few of the younger players sent out on loan. The most recent addition to their squad was goalkeeper Adam Young who was signed in time for their Scottish Cup 3rd round tie after Willie Muir was unavailable.

Arbroath Team News

Arbroath will be hoping that Thomas O’Brien has overcome the niggle that kept him out of the starting line up last weekend. Omar Kader also suffered an injury last week from a tackle and striker Callum Smith should be returning to the Arbroath very squad very soon.

This will be another very tough match for the Lichties. We need you to be our 12th man and cheer on the Lichties from the very first minute.
