Arbroath travel to the Indodrill Stadium on Tuesday night to play Alloa Athletic in our first match in this season’s BetFred Cup and our first competitive match of the new season.
The four other clubs in Group D played their first game on Saturday.
Hibernian defeated Montrose 4-0 with 2 goals from former Lichtie Simon Murray with also goals from Fraser Murray and Brian Graham in front of 5, 226 at Easter Road.
While in the other game at Ross County’s Global Energy Stadium the home team defeated Alloa Athletic 2-0 with goals from Marcus Fraser and Craig Currant on either side of half time with 1108 fans watching on.
The leaders from each group go through into the last 16 with the 4 best runner ups also going through.
If a game finishes in a draw the match will go to a penalty shoot out for an extra bonus point.
Alloa have announced the admission prices for this match with £16 for Adults, £8 for Over 65s and £4 for Under 16s.
