Berwick Rangers 0 – 2 Arbroath

Arbroath recorded a fine 2-0 away win at Berwick Rangers on Saturday thanks to a first half penalty won by Bobby Linn and converted by Steven Doris in the 38th minute. The second half was in it’s infancy when Berwick’s Lee Hamilton suffered a neck injury as he fell. He was rushed to hospital in Edinburgh as a precaution but there was relief all round as he was released from hospital on Saturday evening.

After a 10 minute delay the game carried on but neither team could find the net, but Martin Scott sealed the points for Arbroath with a cool finish and a much deserved victory

The Win has also caught the attention of the “SPFL Weekend in Numbers” section as we set a new club recored of 11 league matches unbeaten away from home

The Red Lichties fell 11 points behind Forfar after losing at home to the Loons in early February, but have clawed their way back into the title race thanks to a timely six-match unbeaten run.

Dick Campbell’s side have built their title challenge on an excellent away record – Saturday’s win saw them set a new club record of 11 league matches unbeaten away from home.
