There are only a few tickets remaining for Arbroath Football Clubs 21st Annual Sportsman Dinner, which is to be held on Friday 10th March 2017 in the Caird Hospitality Suite at Gayfield. Act fast if you want to attend as there are only 75 covers, and this event will sell out.
Supporters should note that this replaces the event which is normally held at the Meadowbank Inn, and this is the only Sportsman Dinner this year.
The special guest speakers announced so far are Arbroath manager Dick Campbell and former Rangers and Scotland winger Willie Henderson.
Anyone who has ever spent time in a room with Dick Campbell will know just how entertaining he is and how captivating he is as an after dinner speaker. As we know Dick has had an incredible journey in Scottish Football and his story keeps growing as he leads our team as we challenge for promotion in League 2. Along with his charity work and a successful businessman, Dick has many hilarious stories to share.
Willie Henderson is a Rangers legend with almost 500 appearances at Ibrox from 1960 to 1972 along with 5 goals and 29 international caps for Scotland. Making his debut at the age of 16 for Rangers and standing tall at 5′-4″ he picked up the nickname “Wee Willie”
